Future Superhero of Medicine

Background

2020 Foundation Superhero of Medicine recipient, Jasmine Zapata, MD, established this fund to empower and encourage Black and other under-represented minority students to pursue careers in health and medicine. The fund provides for 90 day UWorld Qbank subscriptions for MCAT, STEP1 and STEP2 exams. Recipients are also connected to mentoring opportunities. The Wisconsin Medical Society Foundation is committed to increasing health equity and access and supporting a strong and diverse physician workforce in Wisconsin.
