Welcome new Foundation Board members

The Wisconsin Medical Society Foundation is pleased to welcome three new members to its Board of Trustees. Melanie Scharrer, MD, a UW psychiatry resident, Noah Borchardt, a student at University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, and Allie Linehan, a student at Medical College of Wisconsin, joined the Board on January 1.

Please join us in congratulating these new Board members:

Noah Borchardt, a second-year medical student at University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (UWSMPH) will serve as student representative for UWSMPH during 2019.                 


Allie Linehan, a second-year medical student at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) will serve as student representative for MCW during 2019.

Melanie Scharrer, MD, a post-graduate 4th year resident at University of Wisconsin Department of Psychiatry in a public health track will serve a one-year term in the newly created resident position. Doctor Scharrer plans to complete a geriatric fellowship and continue to provide mental healthcare in rural Wisconsin.
