Gregory A. Shove, MD, a longtime member of the Wisconsin Medical Society and immediate past president of the Foundation Board of Trustees, passed away suddenly on Feb. 10, 2019. Doctor Shove practiced rheumatology in Racine until a stroke forced his retirement from clinical practice in 2004. Following a remarkable recovery, he worked part-time as a medical director for CSL Plasma and became more involved with the Foundation, serving as a board trustee, treasurer and president. He was also a valuable member of the Foundation’s scholarship and finance committees and served on the Society’s Board of Directors and WISMedPac Board. Doctor Shove was also a past president of the Racine County Medical Society in addition to leadership and involvement with several other professional and civic organizations.
