Mission: to advance the health of the people of Wisconsin by supporting medical education and health initiatives.

Challenge exceeded!

Thanks to all who donated to the Wisconsin Medical Society Foundation during our special year-end challenge, we exceeded our $10,000 goal.

In mid-November, Clarence Chou, MD, teamed up with David Falk, MD, and his wife JoAnne Robbins, PhD, to donate $10,000 to the Wisconsin Medical Society Foundation and challenged others to collectively match their donation by December 31. You responded and donated more than $17,000 to surpass that challenge.

Our heartfelt thanks to Drs. Chou, Falk and Robbins and those who donated during the special challenge, as well as those who contributed throughout the year. Your donations support the Foundation’s work, which complements the daily efforts of physicians in the clinic by supporting and promoting programs that improve health for all.

Just recently, we launched a partnership with the Benevolent Specialists Project (BSP) Free Clinic in Middleton, the only free clinic in southern Wisconsin that focuses on specialty health care for the uninsured and medically underserved. We have established a fund that will help ensure that the BSP Free Clinic remains a resource for uninsured patients across a broad region of the state.
