It’s time for the Wisconsin Medical Society Foundation’s annual White Coat Campaign! With a $100 donation, physicians may provide a white coat and a message of welcome and encouragement for a first-year medical student attending school in Wisconsin.

Through the Foundation’s White Coat Campaign, all first-year medical students attending school in Wisconsin receive their first white coat and a note from the physician who sponsored it. In return, they are asked to write a message back to the physician who sponsored their coat.
Participation in this campaign offers a wonderful opportunity for physicians from different generations to connect and allows practicing and retired physicians to make a difference in the lives of medical students. Your $100 donation not only funds the white coat, it also helps provide other opportunities for student education and development.
You can request to sponsor a specific student or a student at a specific school if you wish.
The white coat ceremonies are in July and August and sponsors are needed for more than 430 students. To learn more about the campaign or to make your donation, click here or email campaign coordinator Lori Koffarnus.
