Happy New Year! Thanks to all who donated to the Foundation during 2019 and special thanks to those who stepped up to match the generous donation from Clarence Chou, MD, in December to help the Foundation end the year in a position to expand our work throughout 2020.
In mid-December, Clarence Chou, MD, generously made a personal donation of $2,500 to the Wisconsin Medical Society Foundation and challenged others to collectively match his donation by December 31. You responded in a big way and donated close to $9,000 in those two short weeks alone with over $18,000 donated during the overall year-end campaign.
Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Chou and all who donated at the year’s end and throughout the year. Your donations support the Foundation’s work that complements the daily efforts of physicians in the clinic by supporting and promoting programs that improve health in Wisconsin.
We’re excited to keep the momentum going in 2020 with a new project tied to the health of children who must be removed from the home and a host of programs being funded by Foundation grants this year across the state. Watch for our 2019 impact report in late spring and for updates on new projects and programs as they progress.
